Full Moon Hikes

Never one to conform to the traditional way of doing things, Lunatic Adventures is now introducing a new way for you to connect with your environment, one step at at time. 

Reveal your sole, and feel the cool earth beneath you as we slowly walk through the forests of LUNA at dusk.  With the setting sun on the horizon, we'll make our way through the trails on a slow loop of the property.  Walking silently and using all of our senses, a wash of relaxation and connection will flood your body.  We'll conclude with a silent solo sit as we listen, smell, and feel the awakening forest.  Silent and still, Barefoot hiking with LUNA is one of the best ways to enjoy the forest.

6:30: Meet at the LUNA Parking Lot and be introduced to your guide
6:45: After a brief group introduction, a site orientation will be conducted and a hike toward the yurts will begin the program
6:50: When we arrive at the gathering hall, we'll remove our shoes and prepare for our trek through the forest
7:00: Barefoot Hike
9:00: Silent Solo Sit
9:30: Depart LUNA

TERMS AND CONDITIONS DEPOSIT All reservations are based upon a first come first served basis. A 25% deposit is required to secure your reservation; the balance is too paid in full 14 days prior to departure date. If a reservation is to be made within 14 days of the departure date, full payment is required. Upon receipt of your deposit, you will receive trip confirmation and all pre-departure information. CANCELLATION A full refund, less a $100.00 administration fee, will be granted if cancellations are received within 14 days or more prior to departure date. Due to trip preparation fees, such as permits, staff training, and food, there will be no refund for cancellations less than 14 days prior to departure, unless otherwise agreed to, and authorized by The LUNA Project. For your convenience, you may change the date of your trip 14 days prior to departure without penalty. The LUNA Project, reserves the right to reschedule or cancel any trip should undesirable conditions prohibit travel. In the unlikely event of such a cancellation, all participants will be refunded in full. If a participant is late or fails to arrive for a confirmed course, clinic, or, trip, as outlined in the trip confirmation form, no refund or credit will be given. MEDICAL EXPENSES Any expense or cost incurred by use of medical care, or evacuation, is solely the responsibility of the participant (if under 18 years of age, the responsibility of the signed parent/guardian). All participants who are not Canadian citizens should have reimbursement insurance. Should a participant need to be sent home or evacuated during a program, all expenses are to be paid by the participant. All insurance costs are the responsibility of the participant. HEALTH AND LIABILITY All activities offered through The LUNA Project, are physically demanding. Participants should be in good physical health, any health issues or concerns should be fully disclosed on the participants’ medical form. CONFIDENTIALITY All information provided to The LUNA Project, by the participant is for office use only. The LUNA Project does not provide this information in any way to outside agencies.
