Description
Explore the Niagara Escarpment, a UNESCO designated biosphere reserve and one of the most spectacular features of Ontario's geography. Touted as the "City of Waterfalls", Hamilton and it's surrounding areas with over 60 waterfalls and cascades hold a special place in the character of the escarpment. Join us as we explore two of the more stunning of these falls. In the Spencer Gorge area, above the town of Dundas, we'll visit the 41 metre high Tews Falls (only a few metres shy of Niagara!) and Webster's Falls, the largest in the region. Accessed from the historic Bruce trail, the Spencer Gorge area will amaze you with its natural beauty along the trails and breathtaking views from the top.
